Well this summer kicked off with a big surprise in our backyard!! The boys came home from Bible School one evening to find a truck load of fun! :-)
Superman was on Facebook Marketplace one day when this $1,100 play set was listed for FREE - we just had to go pick it up! Actually we discovered there are a lot of playgrounds listed for free if you're willing to pick them up and fix them up a little.
Places - they're so much more than a geographical location. For each of us they tell a different story :-) This Valentines Day I surprised Superman a little early with a map of Dover, Delaware - the place we shared our first kiss!!
We first met as kids (I was 5) and went to the same church until my family moved to Kentucky when I was 12. In 2011 when Superman and I started dating, I was living in Nashville and he was going to s...
The idea of curating a collection of home interiors has been on my mind for quite a while. Over the years I've done a lot of custom interior work, so hundreds of designs run through my office and go into people's homes. It's been a good way to discover my own home style, likes and dislikes! :-)
Finally my dream came to life with this tiny 2x5 closet! Last year when we bought our first home, we looked at it as a big project we were taking on. It was built in the 70's so that alone should tell you a lot about what kind of renovations we were looking at (and still are looking at!) The typical 70's closed off kitchen, old cabinets (see our cabinet makeover here), popcorn ceilings and teeny tiny closets!!
We have been working on our kitchen renovation over the past couple months and I've had a lot of questions about how we did our cabinets.
Here's a DIY video explaining all the details about why we decided to meet in the middle on new cabinets - not using the old cabinet doors but also not breaking the budget by doing all new cabinets! We found a great way to update everything on a budget and it took the same amount of time as i...
Well, it's December 1st so it's now officially OKAY for me to share my Christmas fireplace!! :-D
As you can see, we went with more of a white wash look on the fireplace than I had initially planned! I had originally thought I would give it more of a historic brick, German smear look using this DIY tutorial. After I started working I realized that in order to get that look I needed more of a red brick to begin with.
Hey there! We are Casey and Savannah from Hey Wanderer, and we are so excited to be sharing our last brunch with y'all! Deanna is one of our friends from church, so we are happy to be able to be a guest blogger here today.
We recently had some church ladies over to brunch and get to know each other a little more, so we of course wanted to have a Fall theme. We love pumpkins for decor, and we did it last year. Our coffee table e...
Happy Saturday!! I just thought I would share my very first tutorial with you ;-)
I LOVE Fixer Upper, Chip and Joanna and their Magnolia Market. So when I share this with you, it's out of a love for their style mixed with an appreciation for saving money and being a thrifty DIYer!! If you don't have a Hobby Lobby in your area, I'm putting the links here so you can order everything you need online! ;-)
We just purchased our first home last month and before we even moved in I decided that our bedroom would be ALL white.
I knew it was going to be a challenge but thought it'd be fun to play with texture instead of color. I had no idea how much my husband and I both would love it!! It's so bright and clean and if I add ANY color it pops like crazy! I can't wait for Christmastime when I add holiday pillows and small decorations......
