A New York Christmas

Going to New York City has been on my wishlist for a while so I was excited when Superman mentioned going for Christmas Eve!! What better time to see the city than when it's all lit up for the holidays?! 🎄

We started off at Saks 5th Ave - which was a great place to begin. All the stores were lit up with floor to ceiling decorations and I tried to snap photos but pictures don't do it justice!! I wish I could add sparkle to each photo to help bring it to life :-)

We worked our way over to the Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree and ice skaters and then to Time Square - which was surreal! :-) It was actually smaller than we expected from seeing it on TV so many times but it was a weird feeling to finally be there in person. It all felt so familiar!

We grabbed coffee and walked to Central Park for a peaceful walk in the dark. Then took a taxi back to our hotel.

We stayed at The Ludlow , which was so relaxing and had fabulous city views from each room.

It had this amazing terrace, a beautiful lounge with a fireplace and bar and then way up on top floor was a rooftop gym and sitting area. It was too cold to sit up there but we enjoyed the view for a chilly moment!! Haha!!

Doesn't he look like he's about to swoop in on NYC and save the day?! Now y'all can see why I call him Superman ;-)
